Who is Pasquino?

Pasquino, who named this apartment, is not a person, is not a place, is a dream ... it is the dream of this town and of its people, that in the ancient pope-ages (since the Renaissance over ...) used to shoot at and to criticize the bribery of the governers without any differences between popes, cardinals or judges.The tradition was to attach these speeches on some monuments (the so called "speaking statues") in order to allow everybody to read these. The imaginary author of these messages, Pasquino, still represents the symbol of the thousands of the roman voices either learned or popular, either insulting or brave, but always funny like roman people. Incredible to say .... romans do the same today too!
